The Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) expresses its profound sorrow with a heavy heart over the passing of our Board member, an esteemed colleague, brother, and dedicated peace partner, Mr. Haji Azlan bin Haji Abdul Ghani, who honorably represented Brunei Darussalam within the Bangsamoro Peace Process over the past five years.  

Mr. Hj Azlan embodied the finest values of public service, a kind, humble, and steadfast gentleman whose commitment to the peace process was unwavering. His tireless efforts, integrity, and gentle demeanor earned him great respect and affection of everyone within the IDB, our partner agencies, and the communities we serve. His departure is a loss to our organization and he will always be remembered.    

The leadership, members, and entire staff of the IDB extend their deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues in Brunei Darussalam during this period of immense loss. We stand with you in mourning and in honoring his legacy of peace and service.  

May Allah (SWT) grant his soul eternal peace and elevate him to the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
