IDB holds annual Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop cum Team Building Activity to conclude 2021

COTABATO CITY (03 January 2022) – On 20-23 December 2021, the Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB), through the Operations, Planning and Training Section (OPTS), conducted its annual Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop (YAPWS) at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City. The primary focus of the activity was to highlight the accomplishments of the organization for the entire 2021 and to firm up its plans for 2022 in fulfilling its mandate of overseeing the decommissioning process.

The IDB personnel were also provided guidance on the key assumptions for the continuation of the Phase 3 Decommissioning implementation next year, which served as reference on the respective preparations of the 2022 work plans of all the unit/sections to ensure that the over-all planning and preparations of IDB relative to the continuous implementation of the decommissioning process are regularly assessed and updated.

Teamwork and camaraderie were also developed and intensified among the IDB staff through a team-building activity organized by an AdHoc committee. The entire endeavor was consequently capped off by the year-end solidarity night to celebrate and acknowledge all the efforts and contributions of the staff in ensuring a productive and successful 2021 for IDB.

Amidst the pandemic, IDB strictly observed the standard health and safety measures in the ‘new normal’ set-up. This event marked IDB’s sixth Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop, which was sustained since 2016. //CRA
