2022 IDB Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop cum Team Building Activity

5-7 December 2022 – The Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) conducted its annual Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop (YAPWS) at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City. This is to ensure that the planning and preparations of IDB in the implementation of the decommissioning process and other related activities are regularly assessed and updated. Further, the YAPWS specifically aims to: review and assess IDB’s accomplishments for 2022 including key issues and challenges and actions taken; discuss and come-up with scenarios for 2023 in line with the implementation and eventual completion of the Phase 3 Decommissioning and possibility for the commencement of Phase 4 Decommissioning; identify key programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for 2023.

Following the assessment and planning session, on 8-9 December 2022, a team-building activity was organized to foster teamwork and camaraderie among the IDB staff. By participating in various games and activities, the staff had the opportunity to work together and build relationships with their colleagues. This not only created a more positive and supportive work environment but also helped to increase productivity and collaboration within the team.

At the end of the year, the entire staff came together for the year-end solidarity night. This event was a way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of each staff member, and to recognize the important role they played in making 2022 a productive and successful year for IDB. Through the team-building activity and solidarity night, the staff was able to come together and form a stronger sense of unity, which will benefit IDB as a whole in the years to come. //JCB
