Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) Vice Chairman Meets with Key Stakeholders of the Bangsamoro Peace Process

 
 

January 2023 - The Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) recently held several meetings with key stakeholders in the Bangsamoro region to reiterate its commitment to promoting peace in the Region.

IDB Vice Chairman William Hovland and Incoming Chief of Staff Tom Hjertholm together with other international staff of IDB Headquarters meet with MILF Implementing Panel Chair, Minister Mohagher Iqbal to discuss current preparations of IDB for the completion of the third phase of the decommissioning process.

During the courtesy call of IDB Vice Chairman, William Hovland with Minister Aida Silongan who was recently appointed as Chair of the MILF TFDCC. The IDB Vice Chair was joined by other IDB staff members.
