Message of the IDB in commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro

 
 

The Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) extends its sincere congratulations to the Government of the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB).

IDB recognizes that the dedication and joint efforts of both parties, as well as wise leadership displayed at both sides have made the Bangsamoro Peace Process a great success.

IDB is proud to be part of this process and will continue fulfilling its mandate with the valuable support of its member countries, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Türkiye, and also international donors.

IDB is looking forward to concluding the final phase of the decommissioning of MILF combatants and weapons, which would pave the way to a future marked by lasting peace and security for the Bangsamoro.
